The Opportunity
Our world-class processing facility in Augusta manages rare and premium produce for distribution to international chefs and businesses around the world.
- Working in a large modern factory, learning safe handling of equipment and operations processes.
- Global customer base: learn the ‘ins and outs’ of seafood processing and product packaging.
- Preventative maintenance routines.
- Product development approaches.
- The role is hands-on and often fast-paced.
Your Role in the Team
- You will be primarily involved in abalone processing with tasks including:
- Receiving, sorting, grading and shucking
- Boxing and packing orders
- Facility and tank cleaning
- Your other growing avenues of work may include:
- Preparing wines for and after ocean cellaring
- Packing Juvenile abalone for deployments
- Developing new product lines
Selection Criteria
- Current residential address;
- Schooling (level achieved);
- Details of current driver’s license (including license class); and
- Your availability to attend work
- Are at least 18 years old.
- Have good communication skills.
- Hard-working with a good attitude to learning.
- Able to follow instructions and enjoy working as part of a team.
