Ict Services Team Leader

**Role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a client-focused ICT Services Team leader to join our team. You will be the face of the business at client sites while implementing strategies and processes to help our clients succeed at what they do. You will champion client excellence by delivering high-quality IT managed services by utilising your team leadership and stakeholder management skills.

With a strong customer mindset, you will be able to partner with the leadership at the College and across RTG to deliver a well-thought-out roadmap that considers all stakeholder requirements. You will assume ownership of the school's tech assets including vendor relationships, infrastructure, and systems.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Manage the delivery of onsite client IT services
- Grow and foster relationships with the client, onsite team and the RTG team
- Develop and execute IT strategies to meet client requirements
- Mentor and provide leadership to your team in their career development
- Take initiative to refine processes and work practices in order to improve customer experience
- Provide input to the Director of ICT in identifying items that could be included in the ICT Strategy and supporting roadmap document.
- Provide input to the Director of ICT’s annual budget preparation process.
- Support the Director of ICT in delivering the approved actions, included in the ICT Strategy.
- In conjunction with the Client Engagement Manager, develop and/or review RTG’s Client strategy and lead the implementation of agreed actions.

- Leadership experience managing the provision of IT support services for clients
- Excellent communication skills, strong customer focus and stakeholder management
- Experience and knowledge of end-to-end IT support functions including service desk ticketing and escalations, systems administration, enterprise security, and LAN/WAN migrations
- Experience managing the provision of ICT support services for clients. Experience working for a managed services provider preferred.
- Broad background and knowledge of end-to-end ICT support functions including service desk ticketing and escalations, Mail (Outlook/Exchange), Teams, Share point, systems administration, enterprise security, back-ups, LAN/WAN migrations, web, VOIP (Voice over IP), etc.
- Understanding of cloud-based delivery platforms and services such as Microsoft Office 365, Azure and Google for Education
- Problem management skills and the ability to ensure technical problems are managed effectively
- Experience with project management or Microsoft/Mac implementations
