**About the team**:
The Merchandise team at Coles plays a critical role and pride themselves on building sustainable long term supplier relationships, developing new range offers and ideas, and working on convenient, healthy solutions.

You’ll find us working across all business units at Coles Supermarkets, Liquor and Express. Supermarkets is one of the largest teams at Coles, but we’re a close-knit group that come from all over the world. We’re passionate about working at the forefront of merchandising and making sure our customers have quality products at the right price.

**About the role**:
As the Head of Commercial & Strategy you will support the General Manager of Health & Home with the development and communication of the short and long-term strategy for the Health & Home business unit.

You will lead the execution of multiple Business Unit strategic projects concurrently across key commercial strategic areas and leverage Enterprise Strategic initiatives, this role is accountable for driving these areas within one of the largest business units.

You’ll also:

- Manage key stakeholder relationships.
- Scope and design programs of work.
- Lead the implementation of recommendations.
- Analyse existing/potential issues.

**About you and your skills**:
In this role you will bring your proven people leadership and stakeholder management experience into this strategic role as part of the leadership team in Health & Home.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Business, Finance, Economics, or similar.
- Demonstrated strategic capability, specifically strategy development and leadership.
- Demonstrated project and/or program management experience managing successful programs and large-scale business transformations.
- Demonstrated experience working successfully with senior management to deploy initiatives aligned to business objectives.
- Change management experience is preferred.
