**The role**
- As a Paper Lead Cable Jointer, you will:_
- Be trade qualified with a Queensland Electrical Cable Jointer licence (full paper lead endorsement).
- Have high voltage & low voltage paper lead cable jointing experience.
- Have experience and familiarity with cable pulling.
- Critical to your success in the role is your:_
- Demonstrated knowledge of an electricity distribution/transmission system, including construction and maintenance of the electrical network.
- Working knowledge of Electricity Act & Regulations, Workplace Health & Safety Act and Regulations, and other relevant statutory acts & regulations.
- Well-developed interpersonal communication skills to develop good working relationships with team members and external customers. You must have the ability to identify and understand customer needs.
- Available for call out and emergency work.
- Willing to travel to surrounding areas from time to time to undertake work.
- Current ‘C’ class open Drives Licence.
- MR Licence.
- The following are also highly desirable:_
- Dual trade qualification as an Electrical Fitter Mechanic.
- High voltage switching experience.
- Experience with working within a substation environment.
- Dogging, EWP, VLC and Forklift qualifications.
