**Job Description**:
As Nearmap's newest Enterprise Business Development Representative, you will thrive in a flexible and diverse environment and accelerate the success we are achieving. Our Enterprise Business Development Representatives are responsible for initiating new sales opportunities, focused on identifying growth opportunities, making first contact, generating interest and qualifying contacts by inspiring their ability to use the Nearmap product suite to extract results for their business.
You will work in partnership with the other members of their vertical squad (Sales reps, Customer Success Managers, Marketing, Product Marketing etc.) to develop and implement strategies designed to extract growth from existing customers, and bring on board key new clients.
- Working in partnership with a vertical squad to develop Go-To-Market strategy - Our verticals can include
- Government, Engineering & Construction, Property Builders, Transport Infrastructure, Utilities & Telecommunications, Location Services & Insurance
- Implementation of strategy and continued reporting on progress.
- Contribution to future GTM plans and relaying of information gained from prospect/customer interactions.
- Proficient in identifying key decision makers in prospect organisations to find additional sales opportunities.
- Mapping key stakeholders, technical requirements and business processes on all deals.
- High volume prospecting of new business opportunities utilising cold calling, digital and online prospecting techniques.
- Transitioning qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales representative.
- Efficiently processing all opportunities, tracking, reporting and maintaining them until they are established in the sales pipeline.
- Take part in business-paid travel to attend events and network with other experts within the industry

What we are looking for is someone who can showcase a strong potential in learning as well as:
- Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills
- Sound business acumen and previous experience accurately forecasting and reporting on territory /account activity will be highly regarded
- Sales experience in SaaS - renewals or subscription sales model, experience using Salesforce would be highly desired
- Experience prospecting, selling and closing net new business opportunities - highly desired
- Previous experience making high volume outbound calls - highly desired
