Global product marketing company has an exciting opportunity to join our team as an experienced NPD co-ordinator.

We are looking for a talented person who will work with the Production teams in Asia and our customers in America in the NPD space across our brands as well as private label programs. The person will work closely with our sales teams to ensure all styles are perfected before signoff to bulk production.

As an experienced Technician you will support the production teams from style sample stage to production and delivery. Efficient communication with our HK and Vietnam offices and factories will ensure each NPD program is delivered on-time and the highest of quality is sustained. You will have excellent problem-solving skills and an eye for refining and improving systems/procedures.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Strong knowledge of garment construction
- Make recommendations to production teams to first and final samples ready for bulk production
- Interpret detailed comments to factory
- Develop spec sheets
- Regularly liaising via video call with offices in Asia
- Thorough knowledge of fabrics to ensure suitability to style
- Suggest changes to improve designs
- Knowledge of garment accessories and trims
- Recognise quality issues at sample stage and escalate appropriately
- Patternmaking skills will be highly regarded

Production Team:

- Mentor our teams to ensure efficiency in sampling, fabric sourcing, and bulk production
- Ensure all critical path deadlines are adhered to and potential delays or quality issues are managed early
- Weekly WIP meeting with all teams
- Communicate closely with Asia offices and US customers
- Update Management on all order progress

To be successful you will have:

- Qualifications and 3+ years’ experience in a Garment Technician/Production Management role
- Thorough knowledge of woven and non woven cut/sew
- Strong technical understanding of garment assembly techniques
- Experience with yardage and placement printing techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Mid-level Excel
- **Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese or Vietnamese (aural and written)**:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A love of fashion/apparel and a great work ethic
