Undertake activities to increase the uptake of our existing and new reporting systems, including the Qld eFisher and Qld Fishing 2.0 apps, to achieve desired targets, reduce paper logbook and AIVR phone system use and improve the availability and quality of fishery data. Identify common fishery and user reporting issues and undertake work to provide education and support to address these, thereby improving the quality of the data we are receiving. Work with the data team to develop products for displaying reporting summaries for internal and external stakeholders. Conduct focus group work with fishers and stakeholders to inform future enhancements for our reporting and digital platforms. Implement suggestions that arise from the upcoming market research of recreational fishers to drive uptake and behaviour change for recreational catch reporting. Help to develop and update communication materials to provide support for understanding reporting requirements and using Fisheries Queensland reporting systems. Assist with the project to review images submitted by fishers using Qld Fishing 2.0 to help improve the functionality of the app and facilitate improved species identification for users. Have the skills needed to work across teams both within Reporting, Information and Digital Solutions and Fisheries Queensland. Assist with other across Fisheries Queensland engagement and education work as needed.
