DSV Oceania in Melbourne are currently seeking a HR Consultant

The role is responsible for providing advice and guidance to line management and employees on all HR related matters (which may also include payroll) and assisting in the implementation of projects across Australia and New Zealand.

**Key Tasks**:
Under the guidance of the General Manager, Human Resources Oceania - the key tasks of this role include but are not limited to:

- Interpretation of organisational policies, awards and legislation
- Rights and obligations of employers and employees
- Understanding/interpreting terms and conditions of employment
- Project work that may include, research, benchmarking, determining best practice
- Creating and updating documents, policies, templates, letters etc.
- Reviewing processes and practices to gain efficiencies and better business outcomes
- People management, performance management and performance reviews
- Handling grievances and complaints
- Job design and position descriptions
- Remuneration
- Recruitment and employment
- Termination, including redundancies
- Participate in relevant risk prevention and investigations
- Co-operate in achieving a safe and healthy workplace

**About You**:

- At least 5 years' experience in Human Resources
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- ER/IR Knowledge
- Understanding of business policies and procedures
- Strong attention to detail
