**About the Role**

We're thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a Production Planner to join our Planning team at our Wetherill Park Pork De-Boning facility.

As a Production Planner, you'll play a crucial role in monitoring stock levels, both incoming and outgoing, to create, adjust and oversee production schedules for customer orders. This position entails vigilant monitoring of the production process to ensure seamless alignment with the production plan. In cases of shortages, effective communication with relevant stakeholders is paramount to swiftly address any discrepancies.

Your new role will include:

- Publishing a detailed daily production plan
- Maintaining regular communication with stakeholders
- Ensuring the production plan is sequenced with production to meet truck load-out times
- Finished goods planning and shelf life management
- Planning of belts, creating cuts and meat packing orders
- Daily co-ordination over two-way radio with production
- End of day planning
- Pack weight management
- Consignment stock management and co-ordination with customer
- Inter-site stock transfers including system administration and organisation

**About you**

We seek a seasoned production planner who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments where adaptability is key. While prior experience in food production is advantageous, it's not a prerequisite.

We're looking for a self-motivated individual with a keen grasp of production planning fundamentals.

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

- Strong experience in a production planning role, ideally within FMCG
- Demonstrated high level of attention to detail
- High level of computer literacy with well-developed MS Excell skills
- Highly effective organisational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate confidently at all levels
- Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using SAP is desirable, but not essential
