We are seeking a professional Supply Chain Planner who is passionate about planning process improvement with strong focus on DIFOT requirements of the customer.

**About the role**:
The role has 2 direct reports.

Due to an internal promotion, there now exists an opportunity for a professional Supply Chain Planner who can help to optimise processes to manage key elements of internal & external production planning, supply & demanding planning functions.

This is a hands-on, diverse function and pivotal role which involves Production Planning, Raw Materials management, accurate demand planning forecasting for customers as well as input to budget forecasts, inventory distribution, manage Master Data in the ERP, and general watch on cost savings and efficiency therefore a strong commercial orientation and excellent verbal & written communication skills is required.

**To be considered for the position, you must possess the following**:

- Previous Supply Chain Planning & production planning experience of a few years with medium to large businesses
- Appropriate qualifications - APICS, Supply Chain and/or business-related discipline.
- Experience in a manufacturing business is essential, with Dangerous Goods experience an advantage.
- Demand Planning and forecasting
- Inventory management and distribution planning to supply 3PL
- Experience managing a small team
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills
- Experience with MRP in a major ERP system. JDE, SAP, Oracle etc.
- High Attention to detail in planning and administration tasks
- Analytics and evaluation skills
- Must have Advanced Excel skills
- Has driven or been part of robust process improvement
- Proactive and uses their initiative to deliver the supply plan
- Strong commercial orientation with experience working with major retailers
- Proactive approach in seeking solutions to problems and ambiguity
- Self-motivated and confident to deal with a wide range of stakeholders on a daily basis and build strong business relationships
