We are currently looking to appoint an experienced Manager - Materials Management who will lead the team responsible for the receipt, management and distribution of stock at the Newcastle Mater Hospital in line with Compass Group and client standards and contractual specifications.

This is a hands-on full-time position requiring the successful applicant to be a confident, motivated and focused professional.

**Your day-to-day tasks may include**:

- Manage the security, maintenance, issuing, receiving and transporting of goods
- Ordering and maintenance of all stock items
- Follow up outstanding orders
- Organising and administering stock takes
- Receive invoices for goods and services into the financial system for payment
- Manage Imprest system
- Coordinate stock and equipment return
