**The Role**:
As the Property & Asset manager you will be responsible for the adherence with all legislative, WH&S and compliance requirements as far as the building is concerned as well as routine, planned, project and preventative maintenance requirements.
This is a busy, hands-on role, supported by a small team, which requires an eye for and attention to detail, professionalism, commitment to team development and training and a dynamic “can do” approach.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Managing a small maintenance team ensuring every area is immaculately maintained for guests to enjoy.
- Schedule and prioritise all maintenance activities daily with a minimum of inconvenience to guests and team members with an emphasis on quality.
- Coordinate and prioritise maintenance activities for guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a prompt response time with an emphasis on quality.
- Develop systems and procedures to ensure the health and safety of guests and team members.
- Installations, inspections, diagnosing faults, testing, replacement, repair and maintenance of building, fixtures, and fittings.
**What we're looking for**:
- Trade qualification (carpentry, electrician, plumber, mechanic, etc).
- Experience working within a similar role in a maintenance or handyperson capacity
- Strong customer-centric approach to business
- Strong team leadership experience, with demonstrated abilities to coach others to improve performance
- Physically capable of undertaking the manual labour demands of the role
- High level of physical fitness, health and strength
- Manual dexterity and strength - the ability to move hands and fingers to grasp, manipulate and assemble objects
- Current Drivers’ license essential
