We're excited to announce the launch of the Lodge Wadjemup Kids Club — the first and only kids club on Rottnest Island, powered by GeckoSports. We're seeking passionate and energetic casual staff to join our team and deliver unforgettable experiences for kids and families visiting the island.

About the Role

As a Kids Club Team Member, you'll:

  • Lead and supervise fun, engaging programs for children aged 4–12 (from beach games and island adventures to themed days and creative activities).
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and positive environment where every child feels welcome.
  • Work collaboratively with our GeckoSports coaching team and Lodge Wadjemup staff to deliver a high-quality guest experience.
  • Showcase your initiative, enthusiasm, and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.

The Lodge Wadjemup Kids Club operates 7 days a week over school holiday periods, with staff reporting directly to the Rottnest Kids Club Coordinator.

About You

We're looking for people who:

  • Have education, outdoor education, childcare, or coaching or experience (essential).
  • Are enthusiastic, energetic, and love working with children.
  • Kids Club experience desirable
  • Hold a current Working With Children Check (WWC) (or willing to obtain).
  • Have first aid qualifications or willing to obtain
  • Can commit to casual shifts during weekends, holidays, and special events on Rottnest Island.
  • Are team players with great communication and problem-solving skills.
