**Role Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Build and sustain local networks with community members, relevant agencies, organisations, and apprenticeship providers.
- Enhance support and partnership opportunities with local community organisations, groups, residents, and networks.
- Transform these networks into opportunities for community members, with a focus on First Nations youth.
- Collaborate effectively with team members on community development projects and initiatives.
- Manage and promote the development of sustainable programs and projects that create employment pathways for community members.
- Ensure a clear understanding of partnership roles to foster long-term mutual benefits for our organisation and the community.
- Oversee the delivery of our Reconciliation Action Plan outcomes.
- Keep our team informed about upcoming events and community updates, including First Nations events such as NAIDOC Week, and participate in these events.
- Monitor and report on the progress of community initiatives.

**Requirements**:

- Effective communication is essential and must be competent to interact with clients, property owners, and other professionals, such as engineers and architects.
- At least 1 year experience working in a social or community based role working with members of the community and stakeholders to create opportunity.
