As a member of our Finance Team, you will support the team with transactional accounting processes, including donation receipts and balance sheet reconciliations. You will also gain exposure to the financial reporting process, supporting the team with month-end & year-end deliverables.

**How?**
- You'll assist the Financial Accountant with Salesforce database reconciliation tasks, including but not limited to monthly Direct Debit payment runs and rejections, Corporate and Major Donor payments, transfers to ChildFund Alliance members, refunds and reports
- You'll prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations and booking-related journals in the General Ledger
- You'll support the Finance team with month-end and year-end deliverablesYou'll support with other tasks as required by the Finance team, within known skills, knowledge and capabilities**What skills and experience will you bring?**

**You’ll have**:

- Experience in transactional accounting processes and/or working towards a degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- A pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ideally you'll also have experience with Sage Intact and previous experience in the not-for-profit or international development sector.

This role is a fixed term, part time role (60%), until February 2026, based in our office in Surry Hills, Sydney. We are supportive of flexible working arrangements, with our team working part of the week from home where responsibilities make this possible. As a PBI, we also provide our people with salary packaging benefits, which result in reduced tax liability.
