**BOUT THE POSITION**:

- Providing behaviour support for children and adults with complex disability and psycho-social support needs; complex mental health issues; and trauma based presentations;
- Conducting a range of assessments of a client’s presenting issues and support needs, and identifying appropriate supports, interventions and service models;
- Designing, developing and implementing intervention plans and strategies;
- Facilitating the delivery of clinical frameworks and activities;
- Providing client support including clinic or home-based sessions, training and resource development;
- Working with a multidisciplinary team to optimise outcomes.

Our office is based in Ringwood. The position will require regular travel around the Melbourne metro area. There is also an option to work from home for administration/report writing.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**ABOUT YOU**:

- Tertiary qualification in a discipline relevant to the field of Behaviour Support (e.g.: Psychology, Education; Habilitation; Social Work; etc.);
- Registration, or eligibility for registration, with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner;
- Experience in working with people with intellectual disabilities, mental health issues and / or experiences of trauma who have complex needs;
- Experience in providing clinical and / or behaviour assessment, intervention and support in the disability, out-of-home care and / or other relevant sectors;
- Experience or interest working with individuals who have had contact with the juvenile justice or criminal justice system.

Due to the nature of our business, it is required that our staff:

- have a current Driver’s Licence;
- have a current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening, or the ability to attain these checks;
- are willing to adhere to the Government requirements regarding vaccinations for workers in certain sectors.
