Are you:
Registered with NDIS Quality and Safeguard commission as a PBS practitioner?

Role details:

- Conduct and analysis Functional Behaviour Assessments
- Develop Positive Behaviour Support Plans
- Mixed caseloads across children and adults
- Work closely with Families and carers to support plans
- Deliver therapeutic interventions to support clients
- Collaborate with other allied health professionals as required
- Senior and management roles on offer

Are you experienced and passionate about delivering PBS, being an advocate and role model for best practice. You must have the following
- Completed a degree level qualification as an allied health professional (OT/Speech/Social Work/Psychology)
- At least 3 years worth of experience working as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
- Core, Proficient, Advanced or Specialist status as an NDIS Behavior Support Practitioner
- Registered practitioner with NDIS
- Demonstrated experience working with people with complex needs and challenging behaviors
- Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring team members around developing & delivering positive behavior support services

To be successful in this role, you will:

- Be AHPRA registered as either an Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, hold a Bachelors Degree qualification in Social Work and full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers; and Developmental Educators will hold a Current Membership with DEAI
- Must have been deemed suitable as a Behaviour Support Practitioner by the NDIS commissions capability framework.
- Be passionate allied health professionals with a strong advocacy for removing barriers using the social model of therapy
- Show empathy and understanding, while being open and non judgemental
- Be driven to see high impact outcomes in people’s lives
- Be able to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children’s Check
- Hold a valid drivers licence

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Melbourne, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
