
Sales Specialist

Job Description:
- To increase the penetration of Automotive Aftermarket Products and exceed the sales forecast for the products in your territory.- To achieve annual sales operating plans.- To drive sales throughout the Transportation Industry by delivering strong head office promotional calendars- To identify and prioritize market segment and alternative channel opportunities for Automotive Aftermarket Division Products - (May include Marine & Commercial Vehicle)- Prepare and execute annual sales plan.- Foster strong relationships with key account contacts at head office level- Support the execution of plans through AAD distribution network.- To take responsibility for other products/projects as required.- To spend 80% of territory time face to face with the end user customer- Responsibility for a regional sales territory, which will include overnight travel.
Required Experience/Qualification:
- Higher School Certificate or equivalent.- Cert III - Paint Technician or Panel Beater Technician Qualification preferred- Minimum 2 years in a professional Sales role. Experience in an Industrial Sales role preferred- Knowledge of Industrial products or terminology an advantage- Strong selling and key account management skills- High degree of computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel analysis & PowerPoint required- Strong business acumen and verbal communication skills- Excellent presentation and listening skills- High attention to details- Confident manner with internal team and external customers- Strong problem solving ability & resourcefully innovative in order to fulfil customers’ requirements- Strong and consistent recent sales results- Previous supervisory responsibility preferred, but the passion for development of this ability essential
