As
**Product Support Specialist**, you will be asked to support the product manager and life business to manage, review, recommend and implement product and business improvements aligned to the strategy of the life insurance business and customer experience. Coordinate and contribute to the resolution of product and underwriting related complaints, incidents, and breaches.
**You'll be responsible for**:
- Support the product manager and Head of Life Protection in deliverables aligned to strategy, regulatory change and improvements.
- Support the life team in business as usual and ad hoc activities that support the ongoing life team and business requirements, enabling the business to deliver on our strategic programs and commitments.
- Ensure customers receive a positive and customer centric experience, managing underwriting referrals and, if outside of authority, refer to our reinsurer.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including Marketing, Digital, Contact Centre, Policy Services, and Claims to ensure the life products meets all our customers’ expectations and regulatory requirements from marketing and sales through to claim.
- Understand and anticipate customer needs through customer network, business relationships and competitor intelligence.
- Support the development of materials and regulator response content, working groups, and learning and development materials for the Life team and the broader Allianz/Allianz Life business.
- Identify and support in responding to customer complaints, incidents and remediations in conjunction with Compliance and the wider Life Team or contact centre.
- Coordinate cross-team forums to obtain insights across the business and meet the needs of the Allianz Service agreements.
- Manage key customer communications including Product Disclosure Statements, policy schedules and website content. Ensuring all content is up to date and approved prior to release.
**Important to your success**:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and RG146 accreditation.
- Experience in retail life insurance required.
- High attention to detail by completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy and the ability to quickly identify errors or inconsistencies within information and takes corrective action.
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
- Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships, and implement change.
- Understanding of the product and the legal/regulatory and industry framework/codes and implement/embed accordingly.
