We're looking for someone full of energy, who loves a jam packed day, the buzz of a busy event and the satisfaction of seeing hundreds of people havine an awesome time. **Position Overview**:
The purpose of this role is to provided dedicated support to the Event’s Manager in the set up, delivery and closing of events both within the Taproom located at Capital Brewing Co, Dairy Road in Fyshwick and offsite locations throughout ACT and NSW. When not engaged in the delivery of Events, this role will be working in the Dairy Road Taproom.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Supports the delivery of high-quality events both in-house at Capital Brewing Co's Dairy Road Tap Room, and off-site at festivals and events
- Reviews event run sheets in advance to ensure a thorough understanding of the purpose and execution of events prior to on-site delivery
- Ensures all events are set up and delivered to brand standards and are delivered safely
- Provides detailed briefings to Events staff prior to their shifts commencing to ensure that duties are allocated effectively, key information relating to safety, security and first aid are communicated and there is an understanding of the purpose and desired outcomes of the event
- Helps to identify potential Taproom staff who would be valuable in the delivery and execution of events
- Assists with the training and development of Taproom staff who work events with the support of the Events Manager
- Supports the coordination of shifts for events in consultation with the Events Manager and Taproom Management team where necessary
- Works consistently to deliver the Capital Brewing Co brand and image by ensuring all service and presentation standards are adhered to throughout events
- Uses networking skills to build and maintain relationships with suppliers
- Works as part of the Taproom team when not engaged in events, providing legendary service to our Taproom customers, offering recommendations of beers, ensuring tables are cleared promptly to maximise availability of tables and maintain the highest standards of presentation of the venue, and any other duties requested by the Taproom Mananagement team
- Make suggestions for improvement as appropriate
- As far as is reasonably practicable, provide a safe and healthy workplace for the health, safety and welfare of all employees;
Desired Experience and Qualifications:

- Must have a current RSA
- Must have a current drivers license
- Previous Events experience is desirable but not essential
- A genuine passion for hospitality

**Salary**: $59,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
