**Role**

An exciting opportunity has become available in the Richard Crookes ACT Branch. Based in the Fyshwick office, this role exists to support the client engagement and work winning function of the business as well as a level of Executive and office support.

RCC has been present in Canberra and surrounding ACT regions for over 12 years; accomplished in delivering projects up to $150m in value across all sectors.

**Responsibilities**

Efficiently manage the end to end bid process including:

- Tender administration (receipt and tracking of new tenders) and organising GO/NO GO Meetings
- Review tender platforms and shortlist opportunities aligned to company sectors/size and present to General Manager on a weekly basis
- Draft and manage the bid deliverables matrix
- Drive win strategy and best practice by facilitating effective, constructive collaboration and communication amongst all bid team members by influencing others and providing a positive work environment
- Conduct start up and ongoing bid management meetings
- Draft and complete non-technical content for submissions in a concise and effective manner, ensuring that responses to technical schedules aligns with client needs
- Final production and submission of documents
- Assist with post tender presentations and responses
- Ensure all CRM activity is current and accurate in order to efficiently monitor bid performance, pipeline management and ensure accurate revenue forecasting
- Assist in the development of customer development activities which form part of sales and retention strategies eg. customer events, research and collateral development
- Management of the Marketing Library which contains project data, CV’s, certifications, policies and tender content information for the ACT region
- Facilitate internal communications and graphically prepare documents for management to execute corporate communications
- Development of marketing collateral such as capability statements, newsletters and presentations
- Maintain sector and general capability statements
- Support with events and sponsorships
- Facilitate photoshoots and reporting / promotion of organisation achievements
- Suggest and/or implement improvements to the tendering process, documentation, systems as required
- Support local Executive and Office Management requirements as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Business, Communications or Marketing qualification (favourable, not required)
- Intermediate Microsoft Office, InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and delivery
- Ability to work under pressure and manage the peaks and troughs of working to deadlines
- Design and construct industry experience is preferred
- 5 years’ experience preparing bid submissions, Expressions of Interest and Tenders in the construction industry for projects from $1M to $15M
- Ability to assist with bid methodologies and can bring strategic value to the process
- Strong writing skills and ability to develop and manage persuasive submission content
- Demonstrated experience in producing customer focused bid content
- Experience in managing the end-to-end bid process
- Strong visual focus and creative flair with an understanding of marketing and communications trends and processes
- Initiation and ability to lead creation and execution of business branding
- Strong organisational skills
