**Job description**

Carpet Court Flooring Centres (Sydney West Area) is currently seeking energetic, self-motivated individuals to join our successful retail sales team. This position will entail selling all types of residential flooring, including carpet, laminate, vinyl, engineered timber, blinds and shutters and tiles from nationally known brands, using a wealth of resources and a well presented showroom as well as a professional service department with a number of experienced installers.

**Required Skills**:

- 1-2 years of prior sales experience. (optional)
- Desire and ability to work with all types of people
- Interest in providing excellent customer care and searching for creative solutions to customer needs
- Openness to learning and working with new, evolving computer systems
- Detail oriented
- Interest and ability in staying current on products and flooring trends
- Current valid driver's license (optional)
- Working vehicle with proof of insurance (optional)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week

**Experience**:

- Point of Sale (POS) software: 1 year (preferred)
- Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 1 year (preferred)
