**About Us**

The Infrastructure Directorate is the City of Stirling’s largest and most diverse Directorate, managing many of the City’s important assets and environmental services while delivering a multi-million-dollar portfolio of projects and programs.

This Directorate is responsible for the ongoing delivery of the City’s sustainability program, as well as contributing heavily to the City of Stirling’s vibrant local economy, liveable neighbourhoods and thriving communities.

**About the Position**

The City Trees Support Officer will be a first point of contact in relation to tree related enquires for internal and external customers, which includes residents, developers and other internal business units. This will require the ability to assess plans, problem solve and make decisions in line with City Policies and will require an ability to carry out amendments to plans using basic office programs.

**Key Responsibilities**

The duties of the City Trees Support Officer will include but are not limited to:

- Dealing with customers in relation to tree programs and technical enquiries
- Working with the City’s Nursery and other wholesale nurseries
- Collating data for Urban Greening initiatives
- Working with the team to promote and support a wide range of Urban Forestry initiatives.

**About You**
- Certificate 3 Business Administration
- Experience working with trees in a Local Government setting
- Excellent Customer Service skills

This Fixed Term position is a Level 5 Inside Workforce Agreement position which attracts a salary from $77,514 gross pro rata per annum plus superannuation.
