**Active Communities Officer**
***Location**: Stirling, Western Australia
**Type**: Permanent Full-Time
**Salary**: $85,751 to $90,264 p.a. + super (Level 6, based on experience)

The Recreation & Leisure Services team plays a vital role in promoting healthy lifestyles and community wellbeing. As an Active Communities Officer, you’ll be part of a passionate team that supports local sporting clubs and community groups—helping them thrive through strategic planning and operational support.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Liaise with sporting clubs, community groups, and internal stakeholders
- Deliver recreation strategies and club health assessments
- Administer active reserve bookings and manage facility issues
- Plan and deliver seminars, conferences, and sport & recreation initiatives
- Prepare reports and data analysis to inform strategic planning
- Assist with club leases, licenses, and compliance audits

**About You**:
We’re looking for someone who is community-minded, organised, and passionate about sport and recreation. You’ll ideally bring:

- A tertiary qualification in sport, recreation, business, or related field
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in event management and community program delivery
- Knowledge of sport and recreation industry trends
- Ability to work with volunteer organisations and diverse stakeholders
- Intermediate MS Office skills and creative marketing abilities
- A current Driver’s Licence and National Police Clearance
