**About the role**
We have an opportunity for a **Finance Officer **to be part of People and Capability Command Finance team. This role will provide a range of accounting and finance support services to Commands ensuring compliance with various government accounting and financial policies.
This position is based at Sydney Olympic Park located in a modern office building with state-of-the-art facilities surrounded by various sporting, entertainment, retail, and public green spaces. Public transport is located within 50 metres, various public car parks are available within walking proximity.
Applicants must hold a current driver’s licence with no traffic offences recorded on their driving history within the last six (6) months or NSW Police Force Bronze Certification.

**Target Question 1**:
Provide examples demonstrating your skills and work experience in government accounting, in particular purchase accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Travel booking, accruals, reconciliation and reporting in a large organisation.
**Target Question 2**:
Describe a situation where you had several competing deadlines, what steps did you take to ensure deadlines were met utilising your well developed computer system skills and attention to detail.
