Nice now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Finance Officer to join their high-performing team
**About the Opportunity**
Reporting to the Finance and Administration Manager, as Nice’s Finance Officer you will be primarily responsible for the accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general administrative duties within their busy Adelaide office.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing the day-to-day accounts payable processing, batch payments Thursday fortnightly
- Issuing of customer statements, reminders, and final notices as required
- Raising Credit’s on customer accounts
- Weekly, monthly, quarterly, six monthly cash flow analysis
- Actioning any incoming queries and requests, such as sending copies of invoices, allocating unapplied receipts or credits, and investigating any disputes
- Attending to all accounts payable/receivable queries promptly and professionally, escalating any issues appropriately
- Reconciling supplier statements daily to ensure completeness and integrity of payment batches
- Opening and setting up of new Customer Accounts
- AX
- Performing ad-hoc administration duties
**About You**
To be successful in this role, you will be degree qualified in Finance or Accounting with a demonstrated 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
In addition to the above, to be successful in this role you will have/be:
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and negotiation skills, including telephone manner
- The ability to develop and maintain meaningful relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Extensive reconciliation skills
- Report writing skills
- Ability to solve problems and deal with needs as they arise while working autonomously
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Computer literate with AX preferable
- A current valid Australian driver’s licence
