Don’t miss this exceptional opportunity for an experienced technical manager to lead our maintenance teams at our brand new Moorebank site for one of Dematic’s largest customers. This is a role where leadership, customer service excellence and operational efficiency are key to success.

What we offer:
You will take the lead on site managing a team to ensure customer issues, incidents and breakdowns are resolved quickly and efficiently. Responsibilities include:
- Manage and coordinate a large, complex residential service team to achieve/exceed maintenance, safety, reporting and customer performance requirements- Develop service and maintenance practices to improve system reliability- Work with Supervisors and Team leaders to set performance standards and monitor performance and development of service teams (45+ staff)- Work with customer to identify operational and equipment improvement opportunities- Work within the annual budgets, manage profit & loss, revenue, and gross margin targets- Manage client issues through to closure and feedback to client after resolution- Promote a safe work culture, manage safety performance of the team, and ensure safe work standards are maintained- Prepare quotations and estimates for maintenance contracts, spare parts, installation, repair and customer support as required- Coordinate regular meetings with customers, operations team and report on performance and maintenance activities- Prepare system upgrade plans and refurbishment programs

Tasks and Qualifications:
- Engineering qualification or mechanical/electrical trade or demonstrated industrial engineering or maintenance experience coming from a trades background- Leadership experience working in a customer service environment- Automated systems experience with material handling equipment is ideal (or related industries)- Previous experience managing skilled technical teams of mechanical fitters, electricians and engineers delivering maintenance services- Excellent motivational skills and the ability to encourage and implement a progressive culture, with a commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction- Good understanding of financial outcomes and ability to meet critical deadlines- Sound experience in Microsoft Office and report writing skills- Flexible with work hours
