The Role: Van Fit-Out & Fleet Setup Technician

We're looking for a motivated, mechanically minded individual to join our operations team and take responsibility for fitting out our mobile tyre vans. This includes everything from installing equipment and tools, to ensuring each vehicle is road-ready and fully operational for our tyre technicians.

Based at our Moorebank, NSW support centre, this is a full-time, hands-on role with national impact — helping launch and maintain the fleet that keeps our business rolling.


Key Responsibilities
  • Complete internal fit-outs of new mobile tyre vans (equipment install, layout setup, branding elements, etc.)
  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections and ensure vans are compliant, safe, and fully operational
  • Coordinate with suppliers, workshop staff, and operations teams to manage timelines and quality
  • Maintain inventory and stock levels of equipment and parts for fit-outs
  • Support minor repairs, upgrades, and modifications to the existing fleet
  • Maintain accurate records of builds, vehicle status, and installations
  • Ensure all work meets Mobile Tyre Shop safety and brand standards

What You'll Need
  • Mechanical, automotive or technical trade background (or hands-on experience in a similar role)
  • Great attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
  • Solid problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Current Australian driver's licence (manual preferred)
  • Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
  • Must reside in Australia with full working rights
