**About the role**

The Sydney Campus is a well established Higher Education campus, delivering niche programs in a creative Institute. Your experience in leading and managing change and continuous improvement will be pivotal to your success. Leading a team of education professionals, and strategically building this team to meet future needs, grow student numbers and enhance the student experience, will be your remit. Objectives of the role include:

- Enhancing the quality of educational experience for students,
- Ensuring professional excellence in teaching and learning with an emphasis on inclusive teaching practices,
- Providing an environment which capitalises on professional knowledge and fosters scholarly, creative and industry opportunities,
- Continuing to grow the Sydney campus to its full potential in terms of both student numbers and course offerings,
- Maintaining staff and student satisfaction through leadership, management and provision of appropriate support services,
- Ensuring operational efficiency and implementation of SAE's policy and strategic directions at a local level, and
- Representing SAE Sydney in industry, local, national and international working groups and forums.

The Campus Manager role traverses a wide remit of responsibilities, working with Functional Heads in a matrix structure to deliver outcomes in student experience, faculty, facilities, resources and equipment, HR and staffing, finance, marketing and student recruitment.

**The person we seek will ideally have the following**:

- Post-secondary qualifications, or equivalent relating to business management, audio, film, or multimedia;
- Experience in managing the operations of an SME or operating at an influential management level in a large organization;
- Leadership experience in the education sector and a strong appreciation or knowledge of the creative media industry;
- A supportive and and collaborative approach to achieving the agreed goals of the institute;
- Expert working knowledge of the post-secondary education sector;
- Knowledge of the Australian Higher Education and VET regulatory environments;
- Supporting staff and faculty in performing their duties;
- Demonstrated high level communication skills with the ability to deliver tangible quality outputs at both strategic and operational levels; and
- Knowledge of the creative media industry and how to achieve the competitive edge in the Sydney region.

Established in 1976, SAE Creative Media Institute provides niche creative media programs to about 10,000 students at approximately 50 campuses in 20 countries around the world.
