We are seeking a motivated and skilled Investigations Lead. You will guide, coordinate and lead staff to undertake reviews/investigations in accordance with the Investigation framework. You will provide guidance, training and mentoring to enhance the development of CPL’s capabilities to investigate incidents that are timely and accurate with the outcome focussed on safeguarding our staff and clients.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Reporting to GM Services, implement and maintain consistent coordinated investigation practices with staff who undertake investigations into reportable events or other incidents in conjunction with the Risk Compliance and Safety Team.
- Build investigation capacity and capability amongst staff by providing guidance, training and mentoring to ensure investigations include an objective assessment, accurate findings based on evidence and appropriate recommendations as well as meeting relevant CPL policy/procedures and legislative requirements
- Monitor and track the investigations of incidents as determined by the GM Services. This may involve assisting with the appointment of appropriate investigator/s, ensuring relevant and appropriate investigation plans are developed capturing all issues and assist with developing questions for interviews.

**Selection Criteria includes**:

- Appropriate experience undertaking complex investigations (experience dealing with people with a disability viewed favourably)
- Experience in training/mentoring and supporting staff across a large geographic area to build their capacity and capability
- An understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework, the NDIS Act, Aged Care and Disability Employment
- Experience in developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders and ability to resolve issues as they arise
- Strong report writing skills and proven abilities to undertake research to identify systemic issues from investigations
- A valid C class driving license.
- Blue card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance to start (we can help)
