Purpose of role:
We are looking for a dispatch assistant to support our technical service team based in Macquarie Park. Your primary responsibility is to perform/control a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage,

and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, decontamination, etc.

Key responsibilities:
- Manual handling, packing, and unpacking of products- Transport/ courier service booking- Put away, replenishment and retrieval of products- Decontamination of incoming products (training provided)- Responsible for ensuring safe work practices are always followed to assure the health and safety of oneself or other persons in the company- Adhere to organization and department policies, quality procedures and protocols.- General housekeeping- Administration duties- Ad-hoc duties

Skills and experience required:
- Warehouse experience preferred - picking orders, packing freight, receiving inbound products, stock take assistance and all other associated work requirements- Proactive attitude to work and being a team player- Well organised, process oriented and diligent with an eye for detail and quality.- Energetic and positive approach to all duties, challenges, deadlines, and team members- Strong clear communication skills verbal and written- Ability to understand and comply with Workplace Health and Safety regulations including safe manual handling techniques- Ability to positively contribute to a team environment, supporting others as well as working independently even under pressure.

Relevant qualifications- Understanding of computers and assigned software.- Salesforce or ServiceMax, SAP experience advantageous.Becton, Dickinson and Company is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
