**Your new company**
Based centrally on the Gold Coast our a client within the Public Sector are seeking a Project Support Officer to work in their Business and Project Support team.

**Your new role**
As the Project Officer you will be responsible for the coordination of business support activities. Providing professional, efficient, effective, timely and confidential business support in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and work practices.
- Provide project management support to develop and implement projects for the Capital Works Program and through the project lifecycle and gateway process.
- Lead and support operational projects from analysis to implementation to deliver outcomes and meet agreed project deadlines.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of guidelines, processes, and work instructions to achieve business improvement.
- Utilise knowledge of systems and processes, think critically to improve work methods.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and coordination of business activities for the on-time delivery of corporate and business requirements.
- Provide exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills as well as exercising a high degree of sensitivity and confidentiality.
- Research and prepare a range of high-quality reports, presentations, and correspondence, utilise investigative and critical analysis skills and make clear recommendations.
- Build and sustain long-term professional and strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
- Plan, implement and lead Branch activities that encourages team work and fosters cultural.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in the role you will have extensive experience as a Project Officer ideally within Public Sector. Along with exceptional written and oral communication skills, stakeholder management and the ability to produce reports and presentations.
