About Your New Role
The role is responsible for working alongside the Senior Field Operations Officer to help manage projects related to Light Rail Stages 3 and 4, contributing to the development and implementation of safety systems, operational processes, and reporting tools.
This position will be on a temporary contract until
June
A significant focus of the position is liaising with external stakeholders to maintain continuity and safety of waste services during Light Rail developments.
Duties will include (
but not limited to)
- Light Rail project liaison lead with external Stakeholders to ensure safe, effective service delivery
- Auditing and monitoring of waste services and contractor compliance reviews
- Deliver timely and effective site inspections, consultation surveys as required to Council Officers, clients, and prospective clients
- Provide quotations for the provision of waste, recycling, green waste and organics collection services
- Ensuring stability and consistency of standardised functional processes and established service offerings, with an emphasis on continuous improvement where possible
- Deliver services in alignment with City policies, plans & goals including the Solid Waste Strategy
- Investigate/resolve customer enquiries, complaints, and service neglects in a timely and effective manner
- Support the development of safety systems, processes and reporting.
We Are Looking For People That Have
- A bachelor's degree in environmental science or the equivalent and relevant experience
- Relative demonstrated experience in a similar role and possess strong stakeholder liason and skills
- Certificate IV in Project Management or the equivalent and relevant experience
- Drivers Licence Class C Unrestricted
- Construction Induction (White Card )
