**The Role**
As an ICT Service Manager, you will:

- Develop, own and drive the execution of the ICT strategy and roadmap within the context of a Youth Development focused organisation.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and perceptions and ensure communication is proactive and effective.

In the pursuit for enhancing the user experience, you will:

- Refine policy and examine data to provide valuable insight and business improvements.
- Execute an agile Project Management approach and ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget are well documented and reported and communicated during client handover.
- Mentor your team to ensure they are equipped to succeed in their role, are able to adapt to change and able contribute to the strategic intent.

**About our Team**
The Directorate of Information Systems (DIS) is responsible for managing all aspects of ICT for Cadets-Branch Air Force (CB-AF) and the Australian Air Force Cadets (AAFC).

Working with internal and external stakeholders. This includes procurement, management and disposal of ICT assets, liaising with service providers, implementation and management of ICT systems and provide ICT support to end-users.
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders to meet and exceed their expectations.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into action, while aligning with current or future work activities.
- Work well with other departments, effectively communicate and share responsibilities to deliver key outcomes.
- Effectively report on team activities internally and to stakeholders across varying levels.
- Ability to problem solve, including taking the initiative to identify alternative courses of action.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a small team dynamic.
- Willing to learn how to coordinate complex work programs to deliver results on time.
- Experience with/or willing to learn about ICT projects, ICT service management, Visio, SharePoint and MS Teams/Planner would be an advantage.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a BASELINE clearance.
