We are currently seeking a values-driven Mission Support Writer to be responsible for strengthening practice in Youth & Young Adults ministry, through evidence informed design, development, preparation and presentation of relevant and targeted resources that support growth in Youth and Young Adults ministry across Australia.

This is a permanent part-time role, 2-3 days per week, with flexible location.

You will successfully
- Review the current and emerging needs and opportunities for Youth and Young Adults ministry and resources
- Review existing resources for Youth and Young Adults considering evidence informed best practice and focused on outcomes
- Design and develop innovative evidence-based resources and tools that supports the Youth and Young Adults ministry
- Identify and promote opportunities for relevant and innovative resource development
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a national plan for faith development for Youth and Young Adults
- Contribute to a national Youth and Young Adults ministry culture that is aligned with the vision of the Salvation Army

You will have
- Relevant qualification in youth and young adults ministry and resource development.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Youth and Young Adults ministry and resource development
- Willingness to actively promote Vision, Mission and Values of The Salvation Army
- A Working with Children Check
- A willingness to undergo a National Police Check
