We are seeking a values-driven Systems Support Analyst who will assist and provide advice to end users of the SAMIS Client Management System.

About the role

We are seeking a values-driven Systems Support Analyst who will assist and provide advice to end users of the SAMIS Client Management System and related systems, ensuring user problems are resolved in an efficient and timely manner.

You will successfully
- Listens, interprets and understands system user enquiries, needs and requirements to ensure an appropriate solution is provided
- Clearly communicate with system users to ensure they understand the solution and are informed of the status of any request
- Ensure all support requests are logged promptly, accurately and maintained with all relevant user information and action history
- Liaise/ escalate with to other areas of the SAMIS Team, ITS helpdesk and other departments on behalf of the user in the resolution of presented issues
- Draft and review SAMIS support & related documentation, according to changes to systems and to end user requirements
- Provide support for system maintenance and configuration tasks as required, (such as creating new centres where a program has expanded to a new location)
- Assist with making system changes such as adding new services to a program or creating a new program on SAMIS
- Contribute to discussions and provide ideas for systems improvements, upgrades and strategic initiatives based on user feedback
- Perform periodic data extracts for government reporting and in response to user requests
- Assist with operational projects as directed by the Team Leader, Systems Support and Training

This is a fixed term (2 year contract) full-time position, preferably based at our Territorial Headquarters in Blackburn Victoria. We will also consider successful applicant to be located at our NSW Divisional Headquarters in Redfern. This is an award free role.

You will have
- Demonstrated experience in a customer service-related role
- Excellent written and vocal communication skills
- Experience using Client Management system(s). Support experience highly desirable
- Knowledge of social services and/or not for profit sector
- Capable people and support management skills
- Valid and current Working with Children Check (required dependent on State)
- Ability to provide proof of work eligibility in Australia
- Willingness to undergo a Criminal History Check
