Warehouse Trainer and Quality Assurance Officer*
Our Warehouse Trainer and QA Officers have the responsibility for assisting the Operations Managers by helping with keeping the team focused on their tasks, quality and safety. You will lead by example and perform all tasks to the highest standard. You will be responsible for picking, packing and dispatch of customer's orders with a focus on driving quality and promoting process efficiencies. You will ensure compliance across all WHS policies and providing a safe place for employees to work.

You will help facilitate all areas in meeting or exceeding daily KPIs. This will be done by providing coaching to staff members that will help ensure the operation continues to run smoothly at all times. Areas of focus will be managing training matrix with managers, manage quality checks and documentation and building out SOPs in accordant with department managers, all with a safety lens.

We currently are hiring across both shifts for this position so there is an **AM (7am - 3pm)** and a **PM (2pm - 9pm)** shift. You will be supporting our Operations Managers onsite at our Eastern Creek fulfilment centre (2770).
**What you'll be doing**
- **Trainer**:

- Must be an active participant in a hands-on work environment
- Providing support and training to ensure a quality and safety culture is maintained
- Ongoing training and coaching of staff as directed across all areas of the warehouse
- Assisting management by ensuring staff are following procedure
- Maintain the fulfilment centre with the highest level of commitment to good housekeeping
- Leading by example when it comes to WHS standards, and raising issues with your immediate manager quickly and without delay
- Perform Performance observations based on training provided
- Assist with the development of training process and procedures with QA Manager
- Be part of the Pet Circle WHS Committee

Quality Assurance*
- Review KPIs with department managers and identify areas of improvement
- Update and build out of new SOPs with department managers
- Regular safety audits in accordance to safety matrix
- Daily department QA checks on staff’s work in accordance to company SOPs - any non compliance recorded and reported to the department manager with desired corrective actions
- Review customer complaints and liaise with department manager on corrective actions
- Review of processes and have input and ownership on improving efficiency and processes
- Actively monitoring site performance for safety hazards and rectifying in real time

**Your Ideal Skills and Experience**
- Experience in a similar QA or Trainer role in a fast-paced warehouse environment (ideally B2C or eCommerce/retail)
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with individuals and in cross-functional teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Safety focused with solid knowledge of WHS policies and procedures
- High attention to detail and confidence to execute decisions
- Can do attitude, reliability, commitment and a strong work ethic
- Ability to influence others
