
Bookeeper and Administration/ Booking Officer

**Role Description**:
- Scheduling jobs for Drivers
- Rescheduling jobs to meet often changing/conflicting client priorities
- Liaising with clients to confirm bookings
- Submission of invoices and associated reports to clients
- Providing administrative support to management
- Updating and maintaining files, databases.
- Control of documents (templates, forms, outgoing quotes etc)
- Maintaining client records
- Ordering/maintaining office supplies and chemicals.
**To be successful in this role you MUST have**:
- High level of fluency and literacy
- Well-developed administrative and sales skills
- Strong computer literacy skills (with demonstrated intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word & Excel)
- A high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills - interpersonal, written and verbal
- Strong organisational and time management skills as well as the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to manage tasks in compliance with company and client policies & procedures
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Great customer service skills and the ability to build rapport.
- Sound knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Knowledge of Australian taxation laws and regulations
- Experience in general administration tasks
- High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowing the areas in sydney is important for this role
Immediate start is available for this job.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 25 - 38 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
**Experience**:
- Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)
- Administration: 1 year (preferred)
**Language**:
- English fluently (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driver Licence (preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (required)
