**Your new role**
- Collaborate with teams to integrate security into new systems and technologies.
- Develop strategies to secure legacy and modern technologies.
- Perform cyber security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
- Build infrastructure and tooling to automate security processes.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Proven experience as a Cyber Security Specialist with a solid grasp of cyber security principles, frameworks, and best practices.
- Demonstrated technical skills in:

- Network protocols, firewall technologies, intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
- Providing technical security advice and building security tools.
- Incident response, including reverse engineering and threat hunting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify security risks in complex systems.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teams and explain security concepts to non-technical staff.
- Qualifications in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or related fields. Certifications like OSCP, GIAC, CREST are highly desirable.
- Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain Negative Vetting 1 security clearance
