PMO Manager

Our products are installed in thousands of vehicles across the global transport and automotive sectors and have monitored drivers for millions of miles.
The Global Program Delivery team manages a range of projects for our Aftermarket, Automotive, and Aviation Business Units, as well as internal research Innovation projects.
Based on our recent and anticipated growth, the Vice President, Global Program Delivery, is seeking a PMO Manager to work across all projects in order to:

- Own, enhance, and tailor the Project Management Framework (PMF) to ensure an appropriate methodology and level of governance across all projects
- Own all Project Management processes, and update or add processes to ensure that they are up to date and meet compliance standards
- Conduct Gate Reviews and periodic Health Checks
- Create, manage, and/or deliver reporting on the status of projects as required
- The successful applicant will work closely with Project Managers and Program Directors to understand the complexity of new and ongoing projects, and to further develop and tailor the PMF to clearly define PM deliverables, processes, governance, and metrics. It will be necessary that all processes support quality compliance, so familiarity with ASPICE or SPICE, ISO9001, and other quality standards is very desirable.
- You will conduct scheduled Gate Reviews for all projects and will conduct Project Health Checks on a periodic basis.
- You will assist the Vice President, Global Program Delivery to identify conflicts, risks, and opportunities at the portfolio level, and will manage and/or contribute to reporting where required.
- You will be the custodian of Lessons Learned, ensuring that they are captured by ongoing projects, an applied where applicable to new and ongoing projects.

About you
We value the breadth and depth of experience that our people bring to their work. We are seeking people with a good mix of technical competency and personal capability. Specifically, we are looking for people with:

- University qualifications in Management, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
- Extensive training and certification in Project Management and Governance methodology required
- At least 3 years' experience as PMO Manager or Senior Program Manager in a complex engineering, software development, or research environment
- Proactive and collaborative attitude
- Organised and possessing excellent communication skills
- Customer delivery and continuous improvement focus
