**Description**:
The PMO Manager role exists within the Delivery Chapter of Vodafone Business Technology Solutions. The Delivery Chapter is part of an Agile organisation of squads, tribes and other chapters, which design and deliver enterprise level technology solutions to customers. These solutions primarily consist of Unified Comms, Connectivity, Internet of Things, Managed Mobility, Cloud and Security. The PMO Manager is an integral leader of a PMO Team, responsible for leading tracking and reporting throughout the project lifecycle, from initial opportunity through to successful handover into business-as-usual operations, with a focus on meeting project commitments through strong teamwork and pragmatism.
- Lead a matrix-team of multi-talented people from across geographical locations, cultures and organisations, including Vodafone, its vendors and its customers
- Lead and own governance standards across the portfolio, including tracking and updating project deliverables with a focus on the pre-sales governance process
- Define and own the assurance review process
- Lead the preparation of consolidated material from project reports for regular review by key stakeholders
- Ensure key risks, issues and gaps in governance are appropriately escalated
- Support the project team by ensuring the compilation and distribution monthly portfolio level reports
- Enable data driven decision making from Project/Program reports
- Define and own an appropriate change control process across all projects in the portfolio
- Ensure that accurate records and reports are maintained
- Lead with building a repository of project templates, both technical and management to support the project managers
- Collaborate with peers working in other portfolios to ensure best practice and lessons learned are being shared
- Promote the use of digital tools over manual processes and handoffs

**Technical/Professional qualifications**:

- A successful track record of delivering complex customer projects within a fast-paced ICT or Telecommunications industry
- Attention to detail with ability to track progress of multiple pre-sales opportunities
- Experience of a PMO environment and an understanding of RISK management and Change Control
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially when working with remote team members and key stakeholders
- The ability to build strong relationships with customers, vendors and internal stakeholders
- A dynamic approach to leading matrix teams, with a drive towards team empowerment and self-sufficiency
- Pragmatic approach to problem solving and issue resolution
- Experience of working in a highly matrixed, Agile organisation
- A keen interest in continuous improvement and digitisation
- Delivery orientated project management certifications such as PMI, P30, Prince 2, Agile
