**About the Opportunity**

You will take a pragmatic and collaborative approach to how we deliver underpinned by agile and continuous improvement principles.

**In this role you’ll get to**:

- Work through an initiative to ensure completion to achieve successful outcomes.
- Promote new ideas to ensure ongoing focus on continuous improvement and new technologies.
- Understand the technical language to collaborate effectively with the engineering teams.
- Collaborate with squads across Practices to define, commit and achieve sprint goals in line with delivery timelines.
- Assist and support change management activities, including collaboration with release teams to plan and deliver changes to production at scale.
- Organise and facilitate agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives and showcases.
- Manage and govern the service/teams backlog and planning of their work, in order to support the outcomes of delivery. Conduct regular backlog grooming to maintain a six-iteration forward view of planned work.
- Remove impediments to unblock the team through support, escalation and engagement with other Services, Practices or project teams.

**What you’ll bring to the role**
- Solid experience as a Scrum Master/Iteration Manager in banking or finance industry or experience in a similar role
- Experience using Agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage and deliver solutions.
- Skills in training, mentoring, and supporting the team to follow Agile values, principles and practices.
- Experience determining and managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items.
- Jira and Confluence experience.
- Working knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodology (incl. techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions).
- Experience with Treasury technology, Regulatory projects and vendor management would be beneficial.

This role can be based in any one of our office locations in Melbourne, Bendigo, or Adelaide. We offer flexible work options that put our people first, and a hybrid model with a minimum requirement of 40% of your time per week in the office, increasing to 60% as of July 2025.
