**What will you do as a Precision Agriculture Specialist at Warakirri?**
- Precision Agriculture, Innovation and Extension _
- Support farm teams and advisors to develop and implement farm level PA strategies to increase cost-effective productivity and sustainability.
- Work closely with farm teams and provide assistance through PA data, prescription maps and/or support to ensure smooth execution of farm level PA plans.
- Oversee data collection from farms and liaise with third party data processing services to ensure data is correctly processed and available to farm teams in a timely manner.
- Facilitate discussions around the use of PA data at both the farm and group level, and support farm teams to utilise PA data when making decisions.
- Assist the business analytics team with data insights on farm performance and advise on continuous improvement initiatives.
- Aid with continually improving processes surrounding data collection from the paddock.
- Provide recommendations on the adoption of new technology, including supporting data and financial analysis where appropriate.
- Leadership and Engagement _
- Form a strong, collaborative working relationship with the PA Manager and work closely together to deliver a consistent approach to PA across all farms in Warakirri Cropping.
- Mentor and support employees in relation to PA and technology.
- Maintain a positive culture towards the adoption of new technologies and systems.

**Qualifications**:
**About you**
- Relevant qualification and experience in Precision Agriculture, Agronomy, Farm Management, Machinery Software Systems and/or Agricultural Science.
- Experience with Precision Ag and Precision Ag computer systems preferred but not essential
- Competent in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Sound stakeholder management, influence, facilitation and communication skills.
- Capable of working as part of a remote team with good self-motivation and proactive communication skills.
- Full Australian Working Rights.
- Other Considerations _
- Role is connected to Head Office in Melbourne, Victoria, but base office location is flexible (remote accepted).
- Expect ~15-25% of time to be travelling regionally & interstate.
- Current and valid driver’s license as car travel will be required.
