The role
Reporting to the Senior Director and Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer, you will be responsible for the management of the governance support functions within the Office of the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer. You will have supervisory responsibilities for three individual contributors to deliver team outcomes, under the direction of the Senior Director.

**Specifically, you will**:

- Provide expert analysis and advice on the governance systems of work in the Office of the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer (OCNMO).
- Provide advice and support for the implementation of operational business activities and planning.
- Facilitate and support project methodologies within the office by developing and maintaining a portfolio of projects, contracts and other information to provide high level visibility of strategic and operational activities.
- Provide a range of communication services to OCNMO, including the preparation of briefs, reports, submissions, presentations as well as overseeing the OCNMO eNewsletter and webpages.

The successful person

**You will have**:

- Understanding of corporate governance and policy and how it influences the delivery of state-wide projects.
- Project and management experience including the ability to lead a team.
- Ability to distil advice, expertise and intelligence from clinical and professional stakeholders to contribute to operational priorities.
- Ability to develop high quality correspondence including

Whilst not mandatory, a relevant project management and/or business tertiary qualification would be highly regarded.
