We are an influential voice with the ability to shape and assure outcomes on all integrated investment program proposals to improve the way that Defence delivers capability for Government on an ongoing basis.

IPMB will provide you the opportunity to work within a dynamic and flexible environment as part of an inclusive, diverse, innovative and well-respected team. You will have opportunities for professional development and on-the job training. You will have the opportunity for advancement within the Branch and the skills and experience we provide are highly valued across Defence and the broader Australian Public Service.

The short answer: people with curiosity, resilience, a willingness to learn, the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team, and a wish to deliver better Defence outcomes. Don’t worry about experience - if you have already worked in a related field of meeting coordination and stakeholder engagement then you will be a strong contributor to our team.

IPMB is unique, so we welcome new starters who have demonstrated high-level stakeholder engagement (including cross-agency), strong analytical and critical thinking skills, good written and oral communication, sound professional judgement and a desire to learn about the Defence capability system.

The applicant would need to possess, or be able to acquire, a NV1 (SECRET) security clearance.
