**The Role**
Defence has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and adaptable applicant to work as an APS 6 Cyber Resilience Advisor. This position will support the implementation of the Defence Cyberworthiness System working to the Deputy Director of Policy and Assurance Directorate within Joint Capabilities Group (CJC) Cyber Warfare Division. The Division plays leads the force development and force generation of ADF Cyber warfare capabilities.

As the Cyber Resilience Advisor, you are accountable under broad direction to assist in the development and implementation of the Defence Cyberworthiness System as part of an integrated workforce. You are accountable to have knowledge of and compliance with legislative frameworks, government decision-making, Defence's mission and policy requirements. Cyber Warfare Division places a high priority on professional development and provides opportunities for APS to gain exposure to a broad range of exciting cyber warfare experiences.

**About our Team**
The Policy and Assurance Directorate within Cyber Warfare Division is responsible for developing Joint Force policy and assurance for the Cyber Domain. A priority initiative in the Directorate is the development and implementation of the ‘Defence Cyberworthiness System’ designed to assess the cyberworthiness maturity level of ADF networks, systems and platforms in order to quantify and identify cyber related threats to ADF capability. Cyber Warfare Division is a mix of APS, ADF and contracted personnel, who work together in a One Defence mindset to support the war fighter and Defence outcomes.

As the APS 6 Cyber Resilience Advisor you will be a team player with governance and/or cyber policy experience, an eagerness to learn, detail orientated and be able to prioritise tasks.

You will assist in completion of project support and cyber governance functions to:

- Support delivery of procedural, operational, administrative and business support activities.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Cyberworthiness contract with external service providers.
- Work collaboratively and operate as an effective team member to support the mission of your team.
- Build and sustain relationships with team members and stakeholders.
- Coordinate tasks and assist in the preparation of submissions, briefs, minutes and other correspondence for Defence and external stakeholders.
