We manufacture a wide range of custom products from banners, flags, metal & plastic signs, through to business cards & flyers.

We utilise a large number of high tech machines in our Smeaton Grange factory, ranging from Wide Format HP Latex Printers, Durst UV Printers and MS Dye Sublimation Printers, along with multiple Zund Digital Cutting Tables through to Vinyl Laminators and Pneumatic Eyelet Machines.

We are passionate about embracing the latest technology, to give us an edge on our competition and allow us to manufacture products at a higher quality, with a lower price & faster turnaround time than anyone else. Our growth plans require a motivated Production Operations Manager that can challenge the status quo and lead a fast pace manufacturing operation embracing continual improvement.

**You will be focused on**:

- Management and forecasting of production resources ensuring maximum productivity from the production team.
- Ensuring QC and SO procedures are maintained and developed using effective communication and training across all Production Shifts.
- Oversight of Machine maintenance and servicing schedule being upheld and maintained. Communicating with external suppliers of equipment and maintenance technicians.
- A strong focus on driving continuous improvement initiatives. We focus heavily on improving processes using new technologies and need. someone that can embrace this change to push efficiency improvements.
- Provide oversight for support and resolution of operational issues as they come up on the production floor.
- Liaise with Production Supervisors to achieve manufacturing and business KPI’s.
- Development and implementation of continual process improvement and adoption by the Production team.
- Implementation and maintaining safety policies and procedures ensuring WH&S guidelines are adhered to.
- Ability to develop metrics to track performance and optimise workflows or processes.
- Leading and overall management of the manufacturing function.
- 5+ Years experience in managing manufacturing operations in a FMCG or relevant environment.
- Experience with manufacturing machinery desired.
- Proficient in technology and comfortable adapting and using new technologies.
- Experience managing and developing a fast growing team and overall operation.
- Ability to analyse data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
