**The opportunity**:
Our team in** VIC **has an exciting opportunity for a **Regional Facilities Manager** to join the team on a permanent full-time basis.

In this role, you'll be responsible for managing your team of internal technicians to ensure timely and cost-effective distribution of facilities support to the network within their region. As the Regional Facilities Manager you work closely with key internal stakeholders, landlords and external contractors to deliver the day-to-day maintenance outcomes of the region.

**Key duties and responsibilities**:

- Provide reactive maintenance services across network through Facilities Technicians and external contractors in line with key performance indicators and service level metrics,
- Assist in the ongoing development and improvement of champion areas including internal systems, procedures and policies,
- Proactively meeting with State Operation Managers and key stakeholders to communicate operations and focus areas,
- Work with project, property and leasing functions on changes to portfolio, de-fits or new club handovers,
- Working closely with the National Safety Manager and team to deliver a range of initiatives and solutions and to manage Solv safety portal and/or other tools implemented,
- Carry out risk assessments and appropriately deal with any risk.
- Raising of capital requests with supporting information to ensure business can make informed decisions around spend.

- Be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding role.
- Have effective communication skills both written and verbal and natural ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Have strong organisational and prioritisation skills and be comfortable working autonomously.
- Be confident managing and coordinating external contractors.
- Have a passion for the fitness industry and a willingness to learn.

**Skills/experience**:

- 5+ years in team management.
- Experience maintaining fitness equipment.
- Strong technical background and knowledge of building and/or maintenance experience
- Computer skills and experience using maintenance management systems, MS office suite and finance approval platforms
- Understanding of building codes and local regulations
- Experience managing multiple trades
- Strong experience and knowledge of Safety systems, hazard identification and OH&S processes
