**About the Role**

As a Facilities Plant Operations Officer, you will join an experienced team that oversees the operations of our plant and systems, including High Voltage/Low Voltage electrical installations, chilled and heating hot water, HVAC, domestic water, sanitary and other services in our venues. This fixed-term position supports project delivery, working with contractors and service providers to ensure their work complies with safe work practices and other Arts Centre Melbourne policies and procedures.

**Full-time 24-month fixed term position. Band 3.3 $**91,970.00 p.a. plus superannuation.**

**Your Skills and Experience**

To be successful, you will require:

- Electrical A grade license or equivalent technical qualification with experience working in commercial building services environment.
- Experience operating building management systems and maintenance or experience working in operating environments such as sporting venues, shopping centres, hospitals.
- Available to work rotating shifts.
- Ability to interpret building plans, technical and schematic drawings.
- Knowledge and experience on electrical installations, High Voltage and Low Voltage system operation and maintenance.
- Ability to walk distances of up to 2-3 kms, work at heights, and work outdoors.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.
- An effective understanding of task prioritisation and a high level of understanding and commitment to customer service delivery are essential.
- To support and uphold the values of Arts Centre Melbourne.
- Sound computer skills in using asset information management system would be an advantage.

This role is part of the Facilities Management Services team under the Corporate Services pillar. They are responsible for the planning and effective operational management of the Arts Centre Melbourne services, buildings and precinct so our teams can deliver great services to our customers, stakeholders, and the public.
