AustCorp is supporting an international firm in securing a strong, skilled, and stakeholder-orientated Facilities Manager to support and lead teams undertaking Planned and Reactive Maintenance and Minor Works across a multi-site portfolio.
You will ideally hold formal qualifications in Facilities Management / Business Management or Engineering (M&E/HVAC) and your experience will include 8+ years Contract or Operations Management, managing integrated facilities service delivery within a diverse multi-site environment.

They are seeking to appoint a Facilities Manager to oversee delivery of all maintenance and minor works activities across a multi-site portfolio.
**Base Criteria**
Qualified in Facilities Management / Business Management or Engineering (M&E/HVAC), with 5+ years Contract or Operations Management experience; along with both a strong practical and strategic understanding of integrated service delivery.
**Outline Duties**
Performing a leadership role, mentoring supervisors, and leading a team of technical and support staff.
Manage the delivery of a range of planned / reactive maintenance and minor works with a strong focus on outcomes and relationships, and long-term contract delivery strategy.
Directly lead, drive, mentor, support, and coordinate supervisors, trades, and support staff (including contractors) undertaking work across a portfolio in the Outer North-Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.
**Skills and Attributes**
- Permanent Australian Resident / Citizen, able to secure National Police Clearance, and additional checks.
- Facilities Management, Engineering or Building Services Management experience overseeing delivery across a portfolio of sites.
- Effectively give leadership advice, management support and mentor service delivery / facilities managers and supervisors.
- Strong compliance and operational excellence skills.
- 8+ years’ experience in managing a team of facilities management staff providing clear direction and timescales to ensure they meet KPI’s.
- An excellent written and verbal communicator, with fluent English language skills, you will provide clear and concise instructions, undertake internal and external stakeholder interface, and liaise with clients confidently and courteously, and attentively listen to and understand their problem, use positive language to work towards a speedy and positive resolution of the customer's problem.
- Engaging personality and well-presented, able to delegate responsibilities to ensure duties are completed.
- A strong manager who can engage fully with frontline staff (direct and contract), undertake walk-rounds, and also provide regional head-office support and stakeholder engagement.
- Support staff development, diversity programmes and commitment to safe working practices.
